It means everyone is different and so are there American Dreams. In the novel Gatsby does not achieve his dream, but Nicks life is not over yet an he can still get to his dream. In the article the historian James Trustlow Adans wrote “It is not a dream of motorcars and high wages merely but, a dream of social order in which each man and each women shall be ble to attain the fullest stature of which they are innately capable”(Seely 3). It says that ones dream should not be to be rich and that it is for everyone, but that it is different for every person. That every man and women should achieve their dream. They just need to work hard and pick their American Dreams. In the novel, Nicks dream is not to rich but to be successful.
